Kurelek transforms the effects of the Great Depression into a whimsical sight

Pulled by a horse, engine and windows removed, a “Bennett buggy” trundles towards the warm glow of a prairie farm. Kurelek captures the delight a child would feel, under the moonlight, watching the buggy approach the farm.
