Drawn by increasing demand for North American landscapes, artists from around the world flocked to the New World to depict these stunning sights. We are pleased to offer our second auction curated around this theme, this time focused on the landscape. Featured are well-known artists such as Lucius O’Brien, Frederic Marlett Bell-Smith, and Cornelius Krieghoff alongside their American counterparts including John Fery, William Bruce, Robert Reid, Ernest Bruce Nelson and Royal Hill Milleson. A fine selection of still lifes, wildlife studies and nautical scenes round out this collection.
